Our lab specializes in cutting-edge brain engineering research, focusing on the development of the Stealthy Neural Recorder and the Multi-Deformable Dopamine Sensor. The Stealthy Neural Recorder is designed to precisely capture and analyze neural activity with high resolution, offering valuable insights into brain function and potential treatments for neurological disorders. Additionally, the Multi-Deformable Dopamine Sensor enables real-time monitoring of dopamine levels, even under varying physical conditions, which is crucial for research and treatment of dopamine-related diseases such as Parkinson's. Through these innovations, our lab aims to advance the understanding and management of complex brain disorders.

Our lab develops advanced brain implants that combine chemical sensing, electrical sensing, and photostimulation to monitor and modulate neural activity in real-time. Through preclinical animal studies, we assess the devices' biocompatibility and functionality, aiming to overcome challenges like immune responses and micromotion. These implants are designed to support medical research and serve as neural prosthetics for rehabilitation and neurological disorder treatment, driving innovation in neuroprosthetic technology and neuroscience.
